Star Talks in the Park (Reservations Required)

Enjoy an evening walk across the galaxy by using star maps and a laser pointer. Retired National Park Ranger Larry Smith will guide you through the planets, moon and stars. The 2 hour program will be offered at 7 p.m. Please call the park office or email Rita (rita.eisenschenk@tpwd.texas.gov) to sign up for the program.

Maximum capacity for the talk: 25-30 people

Bring your own camp chairs if you would like or you may use the picnic tables spaced out in the area. Binoculars if you have them are also helpful and a flash light as well.

This event will be held across from our Group Rec Hall. Follow the signs and solar lights.

Park entry permits are required on all vehicles. \You may purchase online and print to display, purchase at the park office before closing at 4:30 p.m. or complete the self pay entry envelopes located across from the office.

This event will be cancelled if temps are below 55 or rainy. We will call everyone signed up if it does have to be cancelled.
