Legends and Folklore of Texas Plants

Join us at Buescher State Park for a guided hike with a Texas Master Naturalist and listen to stories and tales of the past!

Come explore with a Texas Master Naturalist on a fun hike where you will learn how to identify several native plants of Texas and hear the legends and folklore surrounding them!

Meet at the parking lot by walk-in campsite 61, across from the Winding Woodland Trail trailhead.

Start at: 10 a.m.

The hike should be around an hour to an hour and a half long.

Easy to moderate hike with some elevation change and steps.

Please remember:

Wear close-toed shoes
Bring water
