Join us to learn the about the cultural and natural history of Honey Creek.
Join us for a guided walk to the beautiful Honey Creek to learn about both the natural and cultural history of the area. This 2-hour hike begins at the Rust House inside the park. This hike is free beyond the park admission of $7 per person 13 and over (free with a current TPWD Park Pass) and a requested donation of $2 per person to the Friends Group. If it is raining call the park at 830.438.3085 for hike status. Cameras are welcome, binoculars encouraged.
Please Note:
* We advise everyone to wear long pants and close-toed shoes to deal with rocky trails and tall vegetation.
* No pets are allowed in Honey Creek SNA, including on the hike.
* Be sure to bring water and a hat for this two-plus mile hike.
I believe the Honey Creek hike is located in Guadalupe River State Park in the Honey Creek State Natural Area not Government Canyon SNA
