Historic Landscapes and Native Plants

Landscapes of historic places present a number of opportunities and challenges—and native plants can help. Landscape Architect Mike Pecen will discuss historic landscapes of the San Antonio region and their plants, as well as how native plants can create a strong sense of place with limited water, expense and upkeep. Reserve your seat.

Mr. Pecen practices landscape architecture with Rialto Studio in San Antonio. He has designed institutional, civic and residential projects throughout Texas. His special interests include planting design and specification, as well as design for places of cultural, historic and ecological importance.
