Situated on 18,700-acre Lake O’ the Pines, Alley Creek Lake offers opportunities for camping, picnicking, fishing, boating, swimming, water sports, birding, hiking, and wildlife viewing. The park has restrooms with showers, a playground, and a boat ramp with a dock.
Anglers can expect to catch largemouth, spotted, and white bass, crappie, catfish, and sunfish. Birdwatchers may observe bald eagle, as they are a frequent sight in fall and winter, less so in spring and summer.
Location
Alley Creek Park is situated on Lake O’ the Pines in the Piney Woods region of East Texas. The park is accessed just off FM 729 on the east side of the lake, 12 miles north of Jefferson, Texas.

Hours
Open 7 days a week year-round from 6 AM to 10 PM for day use activities.
Fees
A park entrance fee is charged per day–$1.00 per person or $4.00 (max) per vehicle. Campsite and other facility fees are in addition to the park entrance fee.
A boat launch fee of $3 per day is charged for boat access.
