After many shared camping and hiking trips with my husband, Justin Moore, I finally get the urge to take a solo trip. This trip finds me exploring the familiar trails of Hill Country State Natural Area in Bandera, Texas, on a hot and muggy summer weekend. Hiking over 6 miles, I meet a terrific group of about twenty mule and horseback riders on the trail, leading to some unique photographs. Using a handheld GPS unit for the first time, I also share GPS tracks and notable waypoints from the trip.
