About the Park

North Park is a seasonal park open from March through October annually. The park is popular with SCUBA dive groups. All 19 of the park's primitive campsites are available on a first come, first served basis (reservations aren't available.)

Picnicking is not permitted at the park without a campsite rental. Shoreline fishing, bicycling and walking/hiking are permitted free of charge during daylight hours only. SCUBA diving is free Monday through Thursday; a campsite rental is required Friday through Sunday.

There is no boat ramp in the park. The Jacob's Creek boat ramp, located at Little Jacob's Creek, is the nearest boat ramp.

Location

North Park is located off FM 306 near Canyon Lake Dam. From IH 35, take FM 306 exit #191 located just west of New Braunfels, and travel west on FM 306 for 18.5 miles. From US 281, take FM 306 east 16.5 miles.
