About the Park

Located on the North shore of Canyon Lake, Canyon Park is a seasonal park open from April through September annually. The park features 150 campsites, two overnight shelters and one day use shelter. All sites, except the group shelter, are available on a first come, first served basis (reservations aren't available.)

Swimming, picnicking and boat launching are not permitted at the park without a campsite rental. Shoreline fishing, bicycling and walking/hiking are permitted free of charge during daylight hours only.

Location

From IH 35, take Exit #191 north of New Braunfels. Drive West on FM 306 for 20 miles and turn left on Canyon Park Road. From US 281, turn east on FM 306, travel east 12 miles, and turn right on Canyon Park Road.
