About the State Historic Site

OutsideHub.com Partner
Acton State Historic Site is the smallest Texas State Park at just .006-acres in size. The historic site is located in old Acton Cemetery in Hood County. It is the burial site of Elizabeth Crockett, the second wife of Davy Crockett -- one of the defenders of the Alamo.

Although this is not a traditional "park", like all old cemetaries it is rich with history.
