The Chisos Basin of Big Bend National Park is not to be missed. Spectacular scenery (like Casa Grande peak), some of the best hikes in Big Bend, great food at the lodge restaurant, post office and store, visitor center... and deep in the Basin, the primitive campground. (October 2001)
