Climbing to an altitude of 5,000 feet on Justin's third Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) training flight with Certified Flight Instructor Brad Markum. This flight was based out of KSAT, the airport identifier for San Antonio International Airport.

Many pilots, like Justin, train to get their IFR certification so they can be better pilots (more precise, more skilled at handling adverse situations and handling the aircraft in challenging conditions, such as within clouds where all you have to go by are your aircraft's instruments.)
