*** FROM THE EDITOR
The Wild Texas Newsletter has been on hiatus for awhile, as you may have gathered by now. Due to a lack of time (and energy), I still have a stack
of books, maps and brochures on my computer desk, waiting for me to write our October 2001 Big Bend National Park trip report. Rest assured, I will
post an extensive write-up on our trip as soon as possible.
Far from being idle, I have been working behind the scenes to ensure WildTexas.com's growth, adding new features and functionality
that I am proud to announce in this issue. It is my sincere hope that you enjoy these additions and visit the site often.
P.S. Happy Valentine's Day!
Sincerely,
Shannon Moore

*** SHARE YOUR PHOTOS ON WILDTEXAS.COM
While WildTexas.com has always been known for its landscape and wildlife photos, we wanted to provide a way for YOU to get involved,
as well. That's why we have added the "Your Photos" section to our site -- now you can share photos from your Texas travels right here on
WildTexas.com for your friends, family and fellow Wild Texans to view and comment on.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Anyone who is already a registered user of our Forums already has access to upload photos. If you aren't registered, it takes just 2 minutes to
register -- after registering, you'll automatically be able to post in our Forums, as well as the new Your Photos section!
And the best part is, it's free!
Note: Registered users are currently limited to storing 1 megabyte (MB) of photos on our server. We may increase this, if usage warrants. Also, we review all photos prior to their display on the site.

*** AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY / FLIGHT REPORTS
Currently a student pilot at the historic Stinson Municipal Airport in San Antonio, Justin is nearing completion of his private pilot training which began
in August 2001. Already, his training flights have provided unique opportunities to view Texas from the air; we intend to share the awesome
perspective with you through aerial photographs and "flight reports".
Our inaugural "flight report" is now online, featuring Justin's December 30, 2001 flight in a friend's Mooney M-20J single-engine aircraft. Justin and
his friend flew over Enchanted Rock State Natural Area near Fredericksburg, and captured a view of the pink granite domes you have probably
never seen before!
Check it out at:

There are many more flight reports and aerial photographs to follow as Justin graduates from student pilot to licensed pilot in the
near future!
