I use these as a runner on my early morning runs, and in the evening as a bicycle commuter on my ride home from work. When fully extended, each band measures about 30 x 3 cm (about 11 and 3/4 by 1 and 1/4 inches), though their normal shape to which they return automatically is a double circle about 5 cm (about 2 inches) in diameter. It is easy to extend each band partially for placement around the arms, and removal is just as easy. They are super reflective, easily visible to motorists. Great product!

As stated in my [...] bike commuting blog, I take bike safety and visibility very seriously. And this is one little accessory set that makes this easier than ever.
Worried that wearing black bike tights might impair your visibility? Pop a pair on your ankles.
Left without your normal reflective/lighting gear with a later-than-expected ride home? Pull the emergency set out of your purse or backpack, pop a pair on your arms and another on your ankles and feel a little better about your ride.
Wearing pants with chain-entanglement possibilities for a short ride? Use these to rein them in with a little less effort and a slightly smoother look than slipping on a rubberband or tucking pants into socks!

I bought these for a slightly unconventional purpose - I needed something to quickly, conveniently keep my pant leg out of my bike chain. They work pretty well for that, though I wish I had bought the large size, since they don't really clamp over the pant leg as strongly as I'd like--longer ones would have done the trick a bit better.
Also:
- They seem to work fine as far as reflectiveness goes.
- Snap bracelets are just kind of fun.

The product is wonderful. The order form through Amazon was awful! I wanted to order two sets and get the free shipping but it wouldn't allow me to do so. It was very frustrating and I finally just gave up!
I've ordered many things from Amazon with no problems but not with this particular order. I'm sorry I didn't contact the vendor directly as a result of watching the News Hour & 60 Minutes.
