Must have for European travel February 14, 2010 Peter Ozols (Boston, MA) Bought this for my sister who is traveling across Europe. All of her friends are extremely jealous whenever they stay in a hostel. She has told me this is a must have for travel.
Not what I expected February 8, 2010 Tess A (New York, New York United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this sack to use travleing in lieu of sheets. It is very thin and I think it is best used as a sleeping bag liner. It is also very flimsy and seems ready to rip every time you move. If you are looking for something to put on top of less than desirable bedding then I would search elsewhere.
Nice silk sleep sack February 3, 2010 Peggy Davis (Atlanta, GA) Sleep sack was exactly as described and arrived quickly. Tiny package of pretty blue silk.
Very comfortable sheet, possibly too slippery to be a safety travel sheet January 11, 2010 Will Pattison (Cedar Rapids, IA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As other reviews have stated, this sheet is soft and very comfortable. It is also very small and lightweight (good for backpacking). It holds the heat in a little better than I thought it would, if anything though the fabric errors on the side of not being "breathable" enough. To put it another way, you don't want this thing near your skin while trying to sleep on a hot night.
I have so far only used this sheet for one trip (14 nights in central America). For the purpose of sleeping at hostels or hotels where you are not confident in the bed's hygiene I can only give my own experience which is that this sheet didn't work. I believe this was a combination of the sheet being slippery and I being tall (6'4"). Regardless of your height though, you will need to safety pin the corners if you want a chance of protection from the mattress, but for me I often found myself waking up with my face on the mattress. I don't think I'm a particularly restless sleeper. If I had it to do over I'd try to find one without tie-straps that also isn't so slippery. Impossible to beat the small size & weight, and this sheet is very comfortable (and for those wondering, no I did not get ticks/bed bugs/fleas)!
Good Gift January 12, 2009 Scott 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This was a gift for my mother who travels a great deal. She loves it.
