Recommended by Orthopedic Surgeon November 21, 2009 R. Fisher (Naples, FL USA) This was recommended by my Orthopedic MD to help supplement the work of a licensed physical therapist. He says he's has consistently good reports from patients who have used it, and that the only place he knew you could buy it was through Amazon.com. On seeing it, my physical therapist recognized the brand, but was unfamiliar with the device. After testing it and reviewing the various exercises in the brochure that accompanied it, he confirmed it would aid in strengthening muscles between PT visits and recommended several specifically that would be helpful in my particular case. He even decided to order a couple for himself to use in his practice. This is so simple it can be used while watching TV.
Worked better than other solutions November 20, 2009 N. Gonzalez (CA USA) I've tried creams, heat, cold, stretches, rest...anything to relieve my tennis elbow. I figured it was worth the money to give this a try and I'm happy I did. I've been using the green flexbar for about 2 weeks and while I'm not 100% I'm definitely feeling better with less pain, more strength, and the ability to play tennis or do other tasks without being sore for days after.
my pain is 90% gone November 18, 2009 pansy lover (Arlington, Tn.) I purchased this item after reading about it in Reader's Digest. It took me several week to get around to ordering one. It would have saved me weeks of pain if I had acted quickly. I used the exercise I found online and I have devised more on my own. I can drive all day again. Thank you whoever came up with this idea.
Works great! November 16, 2009 Paul S. (Nashville, TN) Very cool product. I use it for tennis elbow therapy and the Flexbar works perfectly. I'm glad I went with the Green/Medium. Seams to be a good resistance for this type of exercise.
Cured my tennis elbow -- with time and the Tyler Twist November 14, 2009 Timothy Blankenhorn (Villanova, PA United States) This worked great for me, but with these provisos.
1. You have to look up the Tyler Twist on Google to figure out which exercise to do. It's a specific exercise for tennis elbow that isolates and stretches the tight, tense muscle at the root of the pain. This exercise doesn't come with this product.
2. The stretching helps right away, but tendons take a while to heal, so don't expect an overnight cure. Figure on at least three weeks.
3. This blue is okay for fit men, but probably the green is the starting point for most people.
