This is a smaller Junior size version of the hand warmer for children. We also have a large version for most adults. It gives comfortable continuous heat for up to 12 hours on a single filling of lighter fluid. It can be turned off by removing the heating element for a few seconds. This brand new heat generating pocket sized warmer is great for anybody who spends time in the cold. Platinum catalyst flameless technology ensures easy lighting and stable temperature from beginning to the end. The newer heating element has 3 times more platinum powder. You start it with a cigarette lighter burning about 2 seconds. Made of polished chrome plated copper, which does not rust like steel. It includes a carrying case and an extra heating element. Buy one for each pocket or coat and never be chilled in the cold again. This hand warmer is the ideal gift for the hunter and fisherman, and anyone that enjoys the outdoors in the winter. The hand warmer also can be used in the event of an emergency and should be part of every winter survival kit. This is probably the best hand warmer in the world today. It did get extreme hot when in a pocket for several minutes, although they are hard to heat up in the cold, and take longer to feel in the cold. I did not use the bag provided because i could not feel it through my gloves, it provided adequate heat for a long period.

I like this product quite a bit. We live in Toronto and have a property even farther north. If you fill it up with lighter fluid it will last well beyond the 12 hours claimed. It comes with nice soft red holders, which keep the metal from burning your hands. However, one of them is beginning to fray already after less than a month's use.

THis is a very useful compact warmer. Once fill up oil, it lasts 12 hours. One problem was there was a spare catalyst, but it was deformed.

These things stay hot for 20 hours and are easily twice as hot as the disposable ones!!! I tried the JON-E warmers and white smoke came from my pocket. Jon-E also smelled like burning lighter fluid!! These are very low odor. I work outside for most of the winter in NJ and these things are great for keeping spare gloves hot. Be careful not to overfill them or you will ruin the platinum element.
