| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Designed for skiers, hunters, fishermen, golfers, or anyone who works or plays in the cold for long hours, the Heatmax HotHands-2 Hand Warmers are air-activated and will provide up to 10 hours of soothing warmth inside gloves, pockets or wherever you feel a chill. All Heatmax warmers are made of natural materials, including iron powder, water, salt, activated charcoal, and wood fiber. When exposed to air, these materials react together to produce heat through an extremely fast oxidation (or rusting) process. Users should allow 10 to 20 minutes for the warmers to reach their optimal temperatures.

Great bargain November 21, 2009 Linda Lasley (Detroit, MI USA) My husband loves these things, especially for golfing when the weather turns cool. They are so expensive in the stores so online buying works. They were eligible for free shipping but the silly man turned on "one step" check out. Make sure you check out the regular way so you can hit the button for free shipping!
Hot hands was pretty hot, but not as hot as other brands November 15, 2009 H. Lo (Austin, TX) Not as hot as I have experienced with other similar products, but for the price it is a good buy.
HeatMax Hand Warmers November 13, 2009 S. J. Thiel (Grayling, MI USA) These disposable hand warmers are very effective and easy to use. They do not get too hot nor do they leave you wondering if they are working. Just right. I kept one in each of my front pockets while fishing on Lake Superior beaches this November. They warmed my body and hands and helped keep me comfortable despite the temperatures which were in the 20's and 30's with brisk breezes off the lake. Very Good product.
Fantastic hand warmers November 12, 2009 A. Pecorella My wife is absolutely addicted to these. She has ice cold hands. Like inhuman, frostbitten, touch of death, please-don't-hug-me-with-those-things cold. These things are amazing. They really do stay warm for 8+ hours, sometimes closer to 12. They aren't super hot just holding them, but if you put them in a pocket they get almost unbearably hot after too long. You can adjust the heat by balancing in-pocket versus out-of-pocket time. Worth every penny, have already bought a second box of these.
Also, just to clarify, it says 40 pairs, which is how they're intended to be sold from a store, but each pair has 2 individually-wrapped warmers, so you can open them up and just use one each day (which is what my wife did). 80 days of warmers for that price is quite nice.
Terrific! Stay warm for 18 hours. Clean & Economical October 21, 2009 Nice Lady (Alaska) These are really fantastic. I find the size to be quite good-you can stick them in your glove to warm your wrists & hands or sleep with it over your aching knees & ankles. Probably easy to use on the neck as well.
This is a great alternative to microwaving washcloths or other 'simple solutions'! Clean, neat, no 'drip-drip'.
Very helpful for the out-of-door musher here in Alaska. We know about survival /comfort solutions here!
If they're helpful & warm for your hands & feet here in the snows & ice of Alaska, they'll be fine anywhere!
